“LEARNING GROUP” FOR LEADERSHIP AGILITY COACHING
[Please note: This group is only for those who have completed one of our recent, virtual Leadership Agility Coaching Programs, at least through the Methods module].
Schedule
6 sessions over 6 months, all 10am-12:30pm US eastern time

This Learning Group will alternate between a Coaching Clinic format (which can include brief updates on cases previously discussed) and a Methods format, proving new content in the pre-work and an opportunity to practice and receive feedback in the group sessions.

Oct. 14: Clinic: Orientation and two Learning Cases: Brief connecting/updating. Discuss two Learning Cases, submitted by group members. (Same format as in Coaching Clinic)

Nov. 18: Methods: Self-Leadership Agility. Mini-webinar: How working on self-leadership differs from working in coaching sessions on capacities and behaviors for other types of agility. Peer coaching and feedback.

Dec. 16: Clinic: Two Learning Cases. Discuss 2 Learning Cases, submitted by group members.

Jan. 13: Methods: Developing Human Systems. Guest coach, Mark Horowitz. Read and discuss his article on using a systems perspective in coaching, drawing, in part, on the work of Barry Oshry, as found in Oshry’s book, The Possibilities of Organization.

Feb. 10: Clinic: Two Learning Cases. How to help leaders set the context for their change initiatives at a higher level of agility. Coaching exercises and feedback.

Mar. 10: Methods: Topic to be determined. A methods-style session, with topic to be determined after polling the group.
Program Facilitators
This Learning Group will be facilitated by Bill Joiner and Debra Whitestone. Mark Horowitz, a long-time colleague of Bill’s, will join us for the January 13 session.
